The ICSA Property Handbook
John Charman
Consultant Editor: Madeleine Cordes

The ICSA Property Handbook is the essential reference for anyone charged with managing property assets and wishes to discharge their responsibilities as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Focusing on the key issues of ownership and occupation, The ICSA Property Handbook offers the non-specialist the correct breadth and depth of coverage, whilst providing the more specialist adviser or practitioner with a useful quick reference guide.

From the fundamental matter of land ownership, to a review of the essential ingredients of a satisfactory lease, through to valuations and dealing with land contamination, this handbook provides the answers you need.

The ICSA Property Handbook covers legislative developments, including commentary on the latest government proposals on such matters as Business Improvement Districts, and the December 2001 Green Paper relating to Town Planning and Compulsory Purchase.

  • Pulls together all of the issues related to managing property
  • Shows readers how to maximise the benefits of property ownership and minimise the costs of occupation
  • Includes model letters and agreements to reduce the time and effort involved in drafting documents
